We’re in the home stretch of Inktober, and while I am very pleased with what I’ve done this year, I can really feel myself struggling these past few days to put out any sort of piece, let alone something that I consider worthwhile. But that’s an important part of the Inktober challenge (at least to me), to experiment and try new things, to learn and grow your skills, and to overcome your perfectionist barriers and fears. It also builds good habits, and I’m excited with the prospect of continuing on with daily art and maintaining a sketchbook free of the challenge restrictions.

Halloween is next week! I hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday with all of the ghouls and goblins out there. I intend to relax with a good movie, possibly Ghostbusters or Nightmare Before Christmas.
