Temporal technology is a tricky business, but luckily the Dino Timecop Force Science Division is there to help pick up the pieces when things to wrong. In this case it's several trillion pieces but hey, who's counting?

As a final reminder, I'll be at PAX West 2017 this weekend and I'll be on a live Let's Draw panel this Friday with some other terrific artists! If you're attending the convention and have that night free, I encourage you to stop by for an hour of fun. We even have some panel exclusive swag giveaways.

Let's close out this week of guest strips focusing on Frank with Chelsea's interpretation of Dino Timecop Force. It is decidedly different than my interpretation, but her wonderfully expressive and charming artwork never ceases to delight.

In one week, Chelsea and I will be on a live Let's Draw panel together at PAX West, along with talented guest artists Amy Falcone and Kris Straub. For one magic hour, we're going to take prompts from the hosts of Pinny Pals After Dark as well as audience members and draw digital art live. It's been a lot of work getting this panel together, but I'm honestly over the moon excited to be a part of something so special. There is joy in being a part of creating something, and we hope to celebrate that artistic passion with everyone that can make it to the panel.

If you're attending PAX West 2017 next week and are interested in catching this panel, the relevant info can be found here. For more updates on what's happening with the panel, be sure to follow me on Twitter @dino_timecop.

Today is a guest strip from an old friend who goes by grandoldaubrie. I've known Aubrie since we were in college, and even then she had a remarkable artistic style with painting, especially in traditional mediums. This strip captures some of that magic with digital tools, and I regret to inform you that you'll have to return to my lackluster illustrations next week.

When we talked about making a strip about Frank, Aubrie was very keen on adapting a noir storytelling feel and I think she's captured that with her beautifully crafted dialogue and visually interesting framing. The character concept of Frank is that he's a tough as nails detective with a tragic past, often acting as a foil to the other members of the DTF. His sorrow is usually below the surface, but he ends up frequently as the butt of the strip's joke. That's ok, he can take it - Frank is no stranger to pain and hardship.

There's one more guest strip this week before returning to the regular weekly update schedule, but I have a lot of artistic friends and it's possible we'll see another round of guests in the not too distant future...

It's important to have goals in life. Even if they're shallow beyond belief, they're at least a destination that you can reliably measure distance to. I do hope however that unlike our dino heroes, your retirement aspirations don't involve eating your co-worker's family.

This week is very special as it breaks with the standard release schedule so I can bring you two guest strips by some of my very talented artistic friends. Like I said last week, we'll get to see some truly unique interpretations of what it means to serve on the Dino Timecop Force with a focus on the character of Frank. And if you still don't remember who Frank is, you can catch up on the origins of the myth, the stego, the legend himself right here.

Keep your eyes open for these guests strips on Wednesday and Friday!

Some believe that adversity breeds excellence, but I don't think this scenario is quite what they have in mind when using that phrase. One would assume that cops tasked with maintaining law and order in space and time would be responsible for ducks as well, but clearly Rex has differing opinions on the matter.

I'm going to be doing something pretty special next week; I will be releasing not one but THREE new comics M/W/F. These comics focus on a character we haven't seen in awhile, Frank the stegosaurus. For those of you who don't quite remember him or his contentious relationship with Rex, you can brush up on Dino Timecop Force's rich 5 month history here.

In addition to a week of comics focused on this character, I am very excited to be able to showcase the work of some of my very talented artist friends. That's right, not one but two of next week's comics will be guest strips, and we can see how other artists interpret these lizards who walk the thin blue line. Be sure to like and follow on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to catch all of the latest comic updates!
